Join Our Team

It is the amazing, dedicated volunteers that allow the district to provide a high level of quality emergency response to the residents and visitors of our beautiful coast. We are currently looking for additional volunteers to help us support the communities we serve. Volunteer opportunities range from Emergency Medical Responders, all-risk firefighters, and support staff, as well as the potential for interest in any of our specialty programs (water rescue, ropes, bull dozer).

Minimum eligibility includes:

  • Work or live in the district
  • 18 years old
  • Valid California driver license
  • Ability to complete training task book (in-house and online courses)
  • Willingness to learn, work as part of a team, and follow the chain of command
